1. Select the [Printer and MediaA paper or other substrate that the printer creates images on.] Tab.
2. Click [Change Profiles...] button.

(RIP-Queue)

1. 1. Highlight a printer and click “Configure Printer” icon on the toolbar. This opens “Configure Printer” dialog.

2. 2. In the [Quick Sets] tab, click [Edit] button. This opens “Edit Quick SetA group of settings that is applied to images to create jobs in an efficient manner.” dialog．

3. Click the [Change Profiles...] button. This opens the “ICC ProfileAn international standard for describing color transformations. Also known as ICM (.icm). See also Color Profile and Profile Library. Setup” dialog.
4. Click the [Output] tab, and then click the [Spot Channel Replacement] button. This opens the “Spot Channel Replacement” dialog (Figure 1).

1. Highlight the spot color you want to define, and click Edit button. This opens the "Edit Spot Channel Replacement" dialog (Figure 2).
2. In the [Spot Type] drop-down box, select the [Color SpaceThe set of referents used to describe color. The color spaces displayed in RIP-Queue are CMYK, RGB, and HSV. L*a*b* manipulations are also possible in Color Correction.] you are using.
3. In the [ColorThe attribute of visual experience that can be described using the dimensions of Hue, Saturation, and Brightness. Data] section, enter the values for your spot color by either using the slider bars or typing the values into the respective fields. A sample of your spot color appears to the left.
4. Click [OK].

 

NOTE: If the [Auto-replace Spot Colors] checkbox in the PS/PDF Separations of the PS/PDF tree is left unchecked, the defined colors in the "Spot Channel Replacement" dialog is not referenced.
